The Concept 2 Fall Rowing Challenge begins September 15th and runs through October 15th. This is a team erg challenge and we could win new erg for the club! Again this year, in order to be eligible for a drawing for the erg we need to have at least 10 team members row at least 100K each. Last year we qualified and the GAR team rowed well in excess of a million meters. For individual team members there are prizes for all who erg 100K and a nicer prize for those who do 200K. You need not be a current member of GAR or GAR Masters to join our team for this challenge (although we would love to have you consider it). For those who are members, a reminder… it’s head race season and a little work on the aerobic base doesn’t hurt anyone.
To join the challenge team you only need a Concept 2 on-line logbook and to ask the team captain to add you to the team.
